November 2nd – The Church Has Left the Building!
Are you ready to be the church? At work? At home? To your kids? In your marriage? This week Ben Durbin will bring the final message in the series I Am Church, We Are Church. We’ve been challenged to think out of the box – or rather, outside of our four walls, and consider how we are AMBASSADORS for Christ. The Church isn’t a building – but rather the living, breathing, walking, talking, serving, worshipping, YOU. Join us in worship this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45 and be refreshed in your determination to be an effective Ambassador for Jesus Christ! And then….the Church will leave the building!
Yes, literally, the Church is going to leave the building this Sunday! Starting at 1:00 PM teams will be working all over Leadington raking leaves, mowing grass, pumping gas, washing cars, delivering baked goods, and serving grilled hotdogs in the church parking lot. We want the people of Leadington to know we are proud to be their neighbor and that it is our desire to BE THE CHURCH and serve them! Want to join a team or need more details?
